Why RJ City Is Your Next Favorite Wrestler

Why RJ City is your next favorite wrestler

RJ City is one of the fastest rising stars on the wrestling scene. The wrestler is a Canadian-born dual citizen who will do anything for a Cobb salad. City brings the entertainment back to wrestling because the wrestling part is for chumps. If you’re not familiar with his work, then let me tell you why RJ City is your next favorite wrestler.

RJ City got his start on the small screen

Like so many leading men before him (McQueen, Travolta, Clooney, Etc.…),  RJ City’s breakout role came on television. City starred in the hit children’s television show Splatalot. It’s like a mix of Wipe Out and American Gladiators. City plays a defender named Gildar. Defenders try to impede contestants’ progress on the obstacle courses. Gildar is a narcissistic Viking, who hates sass. City spends much of the show cutting promos on kids while shooting them with paint-covered tennis balls. RJ City has since outgrown game shows. However, he did make a recent appearance on Celebrity Family Feud.

RJ City is a Baby Face

Everyone loves a good antagonist but the real lost art in entertainment is being a good guy. The Errol Flynn’s of the world are gone and we are left to wonder, “whatever happened to baby face?”. To seek an answer to that curious question we will follow RJ City. A man with considerable experience with such situations, in what is sure to be a role of a lifetime.

RJ City helped redeem a former World Champion

Actor David Arquette became a symbol of wrestling fan frustration by controversially winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in 2000. Arquette is a wrestling fan at heart. Consequently, he has dreamed of making good ever since. Just as Rocky needed Apollo Creed in order to defeat Clubber Lang, David Arquette needed RJ City in order to redeem his reputation with wrestling fans. City not only served as Arquette’s first opponent on his road to redemption but also became his tag team partner. However, it should be noted that Arquette didn’t pay back this favor with help booking a talk show appearance as promised. This redemption story was told in the 2020 documentary “You Cannot Kill David Arquette.”

RJ City is a wrestling historian

Philosopher George Santayana said, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” I’m sure this is why RJ City studies his history. He even does his best to educate the masses by reading wrestling books on his YouTube channel. City is also an expert because he has been present for so many great moments in wrestling. Did you know that not only is RJ City is your next favorite wrestler but he also taught DX everything they know?

RJ City is a Renaissance man

It’s important to have multiple interests in order to be a well-rounded person. Hence, RJ City is clearly an expert in many fields. By now you know City’s interests include athletics, acting, and literature. Some might not know he is also a classic TV aficionado. For instance, it would be commonplace to see him open a pack of Mork & Mindy cards on YouTube. City streams video games with fellow wrestling stars Jessamyn Duke and Mia Yim. RJ City not only hosts chats while having coffee in his underwear, he also has his own signature premium blend. His hosting prowess must have caught the eye of the WWE and AEW because they utilized his talents in shows such as “WrestleMania After Dark with RJ City” and “Road to Revolution”.

RJ City is a deathmatch king

You wouldn’t know by looking at him but RJ City deathmatches are serious business. This is because they are not figurative. He actually wrestles to the death. For example, check out this classic between RJ City and his former tag team partner Gregory Iron.
