Main Event Marks | WWE No Mercy 2006

No Mercy was usually hit-and-miss with quality, but this one gets overlooked for how good it really was. 15 years ago, King Booker was the reigning World Champion on SmackDown!, and General Manager Theodore Long put him against 3 competitors: Batista, Bobby Lashley, and one of his own lackeys, Finlay, in a Triple Threat match. Also on this card is Undertaker vs Mr. Kennedy, London & Kendrick defending their WWE Tag-Team Titles against KC James and Idol Stevens (the future Damien Sandow), Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero in a Falls Count Anywhere match after Vickie Guerrero turned heel for the first time ever, and the return of Chris Benoit after a 5 month hiatus. The Marks (Troy & Greg) have fun going back to this one because it’s seldom talked about, but is definitely well worth the watch.
